Extremadura improves road safety on the EX-363 highway

The Junta de Extremadura is carrying out road safety improvement works on the EX-363 highway between Talavera la Real and La Albuera. The project covers a 720-meter stretch and includes renewing the road surface, improving signage, and reinforcing protective elements.

Work currently involves milling the existing pavement to apply a new layer of hot bituminous mixture to improve grip and comfort. Once completed, road markings will be renewed and 60 linear meters of safety barriers will be installed. The project also includes specific measures for motorcyclists, such as the installation of Motorcyclist Protection Systems (SPM).

This intervention is part of a larger regional program involving 2.86 million euros to improve various road sections in the provinces of Badajoz and Cáceres. The specific lot for the province of Badajoz, which includes the EX-363, was awarded for 1.19 million euros and covers several other roads, including the EX-104, EX-105, EX-209, EX-300, EX-320, EX-322, and EX-345.
