Extremadura to fill 18 forest‑firefighter driver posts via telephone call

The Extremadura public‑service recruitment programme Plan Infoex will conduct a telephone‑call round on 10 August to hire 18 forest‑firefighter drivers. Calls will be made between 09:00 and 14:00 to candidates on the waiting list created by the selection orders of 23 December 2024 and 17 December 2025. Each applicant will receive a single call and must confirm the chosen post and its location.

UGT Servicios Públicos advises candidates to have their location preferences ready. The 18 positions are spread across six coordination zones: three in Sierra de Gata (Cilleros, Hoyos, Villasbuenas de Gata), one in Las Hurdes (Caminomorisco), three in Ambroz‑Jerte‑Tiétar (Jaraíz de la Vera, Jarandilla de la Vera), two in Cáceres Centro (Valencia de Alcántara), two in La Serena (Peñalsordo) and seven in La Siberia (Bohonal‑Helechosa de los Montes, Helechosa de los Montes, Herrera del Duque, Talarrubias, Villarta de los Montes). Several posts become vacant due to retirements or temporary incapacity.
