Extreme Barcelona hosts urban sports festival at Parc del Fòrum

The 18th edition of Extreme Barcelona is taking place this weekend at Parc del Fòrum, featuring a diverse lineup of elite urban sports. The festival introduces ‘3x3 Urban Bcn’, a new format supported by Mundo Deportivo, the Johan Cruyff Foundation, and the Barcelona City Council.

The 3x3 football initiative includes a youth club tournament with teams such as Racing Sarrià and Rocafonda, alongside technical training sessions led by various performance academies. Additionally, the Football X BCN collective will host a 16-team tournament and 1-on-1 battles, featuring three-time world champion Dilan Mojica.

In skateboarding, the event marks the return of 17-year-old Catalan skater Daniela Terol. Following her 13th-place finish at the Paris 2024 Olympics and a recovery from a pelvic injury that kept her out of last year's competition, Terol returns to the venue where she previously secured titles in 2018 and 2023.
