Key areas of concern include tires, batteries, engines, and vehicle interiors. High asphalt temperatures, sometimes exceeding 60°C, increase stress on tire treads and alter air pressure, necessitating regular checks. Vehicle interiors can reach temperatures near 70°C, impacting electronics and upholstery.
Effective thermal management is critical for maintaining safety and efficiency. This involves the use of specialized cooling fluids, heat exchangers, fans, and control software to regulate temperatures in engines, inverters, and battery cells. Proper cooling prevents accelerated aging and ensures components remain within safe operational limits.
