Southwestern US faces extreme heat and wildfire warnings

In the Desert Southwest, extreme heat warnings remain active with highs potentially reaching 115°F. Forecasters anticipate a transition toward more unsettled weather, including increased moisture and storm chances, which may provide relief from the intense heat in the coming week.
