Extreme Networks posts 10% Q4 revenue rise, profit beats expectations
Extreme Networks Inc. reported fiscal fourth‑quarter 2026 revenue of $339 million, a 10% increase year‑over‑year and 7% sequential growth. Net income for the quarter was $18 million, translating to earnings of 13 cents per share, while adjusted non‑GAAP earnings per share rose to $0.32, surpassing analysts' average estimate of 29 cents.
For the full year, revenue reached $1.28 billion, up 13% from the prior year. Non‑GAAP earnings per share were $1.06, a 26% increase, and the company posted a non‑GAAP gross margin of 62.7% and an operating margin of 15.7%. EBITDA totaled $59 million with a 17.5% margin, and cash flow from operations was $65 million. The balance sheet ended the quarter with $47 million in net cash, and the company repurchased $25 million of its own shares.
President and CEO Ed Meyercord highlighted continued product demand, larger customer projects and operating leverage as drivers of the results, noting that the Extreme Platform ONE accounted for about 30% of subscription bookings in its first year of general availability. Executive Vice President and CFO Kevin Rhodes pointed to pricing actions and supply‑chain cost management as contributors to margin improvement.
