Extron launches Bluetooth‑Dante Interface to Enable BYOD Conferencing

Extron has introduced the BT 100 AT D, a wall‑mounted Bluetooth‑to‑Dante audio interface designed to integrate personal mobile devices into Dante‑based audio networks. The unit allows smartphones and tablets to act as conference‑call endpoints or media sources, supporting full‑duplex audio for call bridging and high‑quality stereo streaming.

The interface offers multiple control options—including front‑panel buttons, RS‑232 and Dante network commands—and can be powered via PoE, simplifying installation in meeting rooms, classrooms and other collaborative spaces. It works with any Dante‑enabled processor, such as Extron’s DMP Plus Series, and aims to streamline BYOD (bring‑your‑own‑device) collaboration.
