Exyn Technologies expands defense strategy and reports Q2 2026 results

Exyn Technologies has announced its second quarter 2026 financial results and strategic expansions into the defense sector. For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company reported revenue of $950,000, down from $1.4 million in the same period last year, citing the timing of customer deployments. Despite the revenue decrease, gross margin increased to 46.9% due to improved project mix and lower costs of revenue.

To support its growth in military autonomy, Exyn has formed a Defense Advisory Board, appointing former Pentagon official and Green Beret Andrew Knaggs as its inaugural member. The company is also rebranding its government subsidiary as Exyn Defense and pursuing Green UAS certification for its Nexys autonomous mapping platform to facilitate deployment across U.S. and allied military programs.

Exyn’s technology is currently being utilized in programs with the U.S. Department of War and the U.K. Ministry of Defence. Recent engagements include supporting autonomous aircraft inspection at the U.S. Air Force’s Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex and securing contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
