EY expands global workforce by 10,000 amid AI revenue surge

EY reported a significant increase in its workforce, adding nearly 10,000 staff globally during its 2026 financial year. This growth was largely concentrated in its global delivery services, bringing the firm's total headcount to 415,000. This expansion occurs alongside a 50% surge in revenue from AI-related services.

Global revenue for the firm rose 4.7% to $57 billion. While the Americas division saw a workforce decrease of approximately 5%, the company's "All-In" strategy continues to prioritize heavy investment in artificial intelligence to transform its operating model. EY-Parthenon, the strategy and transactions arm, was noted as the fastest-growing service line with a 7.4% revenue increase.
