EY Nigeria to host webinar on new FRC valuation guidelines

Ernst & Young (EY) Nigeria will hold a virtual webinar on Wednesday, July 29, to help businesses, valuation professionals and other stakeholders understand the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria’s draft valuation regulations. The session, titled “Navigating the FRC Valuation Guidelines for Financial Reporting: Key Requirements and Practical Considerations,” will outline the new expectations for valuation quality, governance, transparency and regulatory oversight.

The webinar will feature a keynote by Ugochukwu Nwora, Head of the Directorate of Valuation Standards at the FRC, followed by a panel discussion with EY partners Olufemi Alabi, Abiodun Ogunoiki, Jamiu Olakisan and Williams Erimona, and Idowu Bakare. Participants will receive practical guidance on implementing the rules, compliance steps for boards, CEOs, CFOs, finance directors, audit committees and other finance professionals.
