EYDAP launches ‘Great Blue Mission’ water protection contest for Greek schools

EYDAP has officially opened the registration period for the ‘Great Blue Mission: Children Save Water,’ a nationwide student competition aimed at promoting water resource protection across Greece. The initiative is a joint project between EYDAP, the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports, and the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

The contest is designed for students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades of primary school. Through research, experiential activities, and creative teamwork, participants are encouraged to identify water waste and develop innovative proposals for conservation. This initiative seeks to foster a culture of responsible water usage among the younger generation in response to the growing challenges of the climate crisis and water scarcity.
