EYDAP launches international tender for Psyttalia wastewater upgrade
EYDAP has launched an international tender for the study of the “Psyttalia III” project, aimed at developing the next phase of the Psyttalia Wastewater Treatment Plant in Attica. With a budget exceeding €9.3 million and an estimated duration of 35 months, the tender seeks to establish a comprehensive framework for the plant's upgrade. The project focuses on meeting future environmental standards, energy efficiency, climate change resilience, and circular economy principles.
This initiative is part of a broader surge in high-value public tenders managed by the Ministry of Finance’s Unit of Strategic Importance Contracts (PPF). During August, the unit is overseeing competitive processes totaling over €1.1 billion. Key projects include the relocation of Korydallos Prison to Aspropyrgos and the re-tendering of the Rafina-Pikermi Wastewater Treatment Center, highlighting a significant period of infrastructure planning and contract management for the Greek state.
