EYDAP launches nationwide student water conservation competition
EYDAP, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports and the Ministry of Environment and Energy, has officially opened the registration period for the panhellenic student competition ‘The Great Blue Mission: Children Save Water’.
The initiative targets students in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades of primary schools across Greece. The program aims to foster environmental awareness and responsible water usage through research and practical action. Participants are encouraged to investigate water consumption within their own schools, identify areas of waste, and develop realistic water-saving plans.
This educational initiative is part of EYDAP’s broader sustainable development strategy, which includes a 2.8 billion euro investment program focused on renewing networks, developing sewage infrastructure, and advancing energy and digital modernization.
