EYDAP re-launches 124 million euro wastewater project in East Attica

EYDAP has re-launched a major tender for the construction and operation of a wastewater treatment plant (KEL) to serve the municipalities of Rafina, Pikermi, Spata, and Artemida in East Attica. The project is valued at 124 million euros, including VAT.

The contract is structured as a hybrid model with a total duration of 114 months. This includes a 30-month construction phase followed by 84 months of maintenance and operation. The scope of work encompasses the development of final studies, full construction of the plant, and the installation of a submarine pipeline.

This tender follows the cancellation of a previous 2023 process due to legal appeals and disputes involving various construction consortia. Bids for the new project are scheduled to be submitted on November 3, 2026.
