Eyüpspor and Göztepe face off in Süper Lig relegation battle

Eyüpspor and Göztepe are set to face each other in a Turkish Süper Lig match amidst a struggle to avoid relegation. Both clubs currently sit in the relegation zone with only three points after six matches.

Eyüpspor enters the fixture under significant pressure following a difficult run of form, including a heavy 8-0 defeat against Fenerbahçe. While they have shown some resilience at home, including a recent 2-1 win against Alanyaspor, their defense has struggled, conceding an average of 1.92 goals per game in recent outings.

Göztepe has also faced challenges in securing wins but has demonstrated a level of resilience during away matches, recording draws against Alanyaspor and Rizespor. The upcoming match carries high stakes for both sides as they attempt to improve their standings in the league.
