Eyyüp Kadir İnan leads AK Parti field programs and projects in İzmir
AK Parti General Secretary and İzmir Deputy Eyyüp Kadir İnan has launched a series of political activities and field programs across İzmir. As part of the ‘Türkiye Yüzyılı Buluşmaları’, the party is conducting field studies in 30 districts to engage with citizens, tradespeople, and local organizations.
A major focus of İnan’s visit was the restoration of the Historic Flour Factory in Halkapınar, a project receiving a 550 million TL investment to be converted into a library and cultural center for youth. İnan criticized CHP leader Özgür Özel, claiming previous allegations regarding the site's use were false and calling for an apology to the people of İzmir.
Additionally, İnan addressed the political shift in Foça following the transition of Mayor Saniye Bora Fıçı from the CHP to the AK Parti. He defended Fıçı against local political backlash, characterizing the criticism as an attempt to maintain a political monopoly rather than a democratic response. İnan also asserted that the AK Parti remains a leading political force in İzmir, citing high polling numbers and ongoing regional investments.
