ČEZ advances corporate transformation and nuclear energy training

ČEZ management provided updates regarding the company's ongoing transformation and the establishment of its new subsidiary, ČEZ Energy. The process involves transferring customer segment entities into the new company, with the transfer of assets and liabilities expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2027. While the specific debt allocation between the production and customer segments is still under analysis, the company currently operates with a net debt of approximately 200 billion CZK.

In its German sales segment, ČEZ is progressing with the acquisition of Techem Solutions, a German heat and energy services provider. The deal, which is expected to close in the second half of 2026, aims to strengthen the company's profitability and cash flow in the region. The provider manages energy resources totaling 539 MW and serves over 2,600 customers.

Additionally, ČEZ continues its long-term efforts to address generational shifts and prepare for new nuclear projects through educational initiatives. The company recently hosted a Summer University program at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant, providing technical students with intensive practical and theoretical training in nuclear energy operations.
