Ezequiel Ponce returns to Elche CF from Houston Dynamo

Argentine striker Ezequiel Ponce has returned to Spain, signing with Elche CF from the MLS side Houston Dynamo. The 29-year-old forward has committed to a contract running until June 2027, which includes an option to extend for an additional two seasons based on specific performance targets.

Ponce previously played for Elche, recording 50 appearances with seven goals and one assist during his prior tenure. His move to the MLS followed a period with AEK Athens, where he scored 37 goals in 81 appearances. During his time with Houston Dynamo, he recorded 20 goals and two assists across 70 matches.
