EZVIZ launches subscription-free smart home security ecosystem in Australia

EZVIZ has launched an expansive smart home security ecosystem in Australia, featuring a range of products designed to operate without mandatory subscription fees. The lineup utilizes Always-On Video (AOV) technology and emphasizes local storage to provide consumers with greater control over their data and monitoring.

The new hardware includes the HB90 Dual Kit, a dual-lens outdoor camera with 3K video and AI detection, and the EP8 Ultra video doorbell, which features a downward-facing lens for parcel monitoring and an interactive screen for two-way video calls. Other additions to the ecosystem include the HB8 Lite pan-tilt outdoor camera, the S10 smart video calling camera for indoor use, and the DL50FVX Smart Lock, which offers biometric authentication including facial and palm recognition.

To manage these devices, the company introduced the ED7 Smart Home Control Screen, a portable 7-inch touchscreen interface. The product range is available nationally through retailers Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi.
