F1 driver Valtteri Bottas denies rumors he will leave Cadillac
Valtteri Bottas publicly refuted circulating speculation that his tenure with the new Formula 1 team Cadillac is in jeopardy. Speaking before the Monaco Grand Prix, Bottas said the team fully supports him and described the rumors as “click‑bait” nonsense.
He noted that Cadillac has yet to score points in its first five races and that neither he nor teammate Sergio Perez has delivered strong results, though Perez has been marginally quicker. Bottas stressed he is focused on qualifying for the Monaco weekend and will let the race decide his performance.
The driver added that media outlets had fabricated the story after the Montreal race, using sensational headlines for attention, and that he no longer worries about such reports.
