F5 named a Market Shaper in Gartner’s AI Application Security report

F5 has been positioned in the Market Shapers quadrant of the September 2026 Gartner Emerging Market Quadrant for AI Application Security. It is one of only two vendors to receive this specific recognition.

According to Gartner, vendors in this quadrant are evaluated based on their potential for market disruption and their potential to execute. F5’s positioning highlights its ability to secure AI across cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped environments at an enterprise scale.

F5’s 2026 State of Application Strategy Report indicates that 88 per cent of organizations have faced at least one AI-related operational or security challenge, while 98 per cent are preparing for agentic AI. The company emphasizes that securing AI requires more than disparate point products, as modern AI systems operate with greater autonomy and speed than traditional security models allow.
