Fažana celebrates fishing heritage and sardine salting traditions

In Fažana, the ‘Ča ribari znaju’ event celebrated the region's rich fishing heritage and traditional skills. A central highlight of the manifestation was the announcement of the winners from the Fažana Sardine Salting School.

Gabriel Bergić and Davorka Spinotti were awarded first place for their salted sardines. Second place went to Endi Filipić Hasanović and Aleksandra Filipić, while Emil Raškolić took third. The competition, which included 32 participating teams, aimed to preserve local customs and pass fishing knowledge to younger generations.
