Fabbrica Europa festival continues arts programming in Florence

The Fabbrica Europa festival, directed by Maurizia Settembri, continues its month-long program of dance, music, and performance in Florence. The event, which began in mid-September, focuses on presenting new artistic languages.

Upcoming scheduled performances include Motus presenting ‘Frankenstein (History of Hate)’ at Teatro Cantiere Florida on September 30. Other notable acts include the project ‘Ikar, voliamo altissimo’ at PARC, and ‘Human Echoes’ featuring Maria Cortesi and Simone Graziano at the Museo Marino Marini. The festival also features electronic music by Mai Mai Mai and theatrical works such as ‘The Maids – Materials’ by Jaroslaw Fret and the Grotowski Institute.

Recent highlights from the festival included the piece ‘Hito’, choreographed and performed by Flavia Dule and Beatrice Guastalla at PARC, which explored human dynamics of closeness and distance through physical dialogue.
