Fabi Alvim, Alison Mamute and Ary Graça inducted into Volleyball Hall of Fame

Three Brazilian volleyball figures—Fabi Alvim, Alison Mamute, and Ary Graça—were inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame during a ceremony held in Holyoke, Massachusetts.

Fabi Alvim, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and renowned libero, reflected on her career and the altruistic nature of her position. She noted that playing as a libero involves a commitment to serving the team without the direct responsibility of scoring points.

Alison Mamute, an Olympic gold medalist from the Rio 2016 games and silver medalist from London 2012, was also honored for his physical strength and blocking efficiency. Ary Graça, the former president of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), completed the group of Brazilian honorees.
