Fabian Aichner discusses abrupt WWE release

Professional wrestler Fabian Aichner, who previously performed in WWE as Giovanni Vinci, has discussed the abrupt nature of his release from the company. Aichner described the experience as an “avalanche of emotions,” noting that the departure occurred shortly after WWE aired promotional vignettes teasing his return.

Aichner recalled that he believed the vignettes signaled the culmination of his career goals, only for the storyline to be dropped and his employment terminated two weeks later. He stated that while he had always intended to stay with WWE, the decision was ultimately made for him. Following his final match against Luke Gallows on December 13, 2025, Aichner took a hiatus from the industry before joining the TNA roster in May 2026.
