Fabián Ruiz to miss Spain's match against Croatia

Spanish midfielder Fabián Ruiz will miss the upcoming Nations League match against Croatia in Split due to the birth of his first child. Ruiz left the national team camp in Oviedo to travel to Paris to be with his family.

Ruiz was absent from Spain's recent 3-1 victory over the Czech Republic. His absence comes at a challenging time for manager Luis de la Fuente, who is already managing the loss of forwards Nico Williams and Ferran Torres due to injuries. Spain currently holds 9 points in their group, while Croatia has 3. The match is scheduled to take place at Poljud Stadium on Tuesday.
