Fabio Canino's Potential Shift from Judge to Contestant on Italy's 'Ballando con le Stelle

Italian television host Milly Carlucci is reportedly considering moving judge Fabio Canino from the panel of "Ballando con le Stelle" to become a competitor in the upcoming season. The speculation follows the recent departure of judge Selvaggia Lucarelli and leaves Canino's role on the show uncertain. Canino is said to have replied that he would be "kicked out in a quarter of an hour" if asked to dance.

The program, which airs on Rai Uno, is set to begin in early October with rehearsals scheduled for mid‑September. While Carolyn Smith and Guillermo Mariotto are confirmed as judges, other seats may be filled by Ivan Zazzaroni, Rossella Erra or other former participants, depending on the final decision.

The rumors remain unconfirmed, and the final line‑up will be announced after the general rehearsals.
