Fabio da Silva Junior debuts for Serbia U15 national team

Fabio da Silva Junior, a talented midfielder from the Red Star Belgrade youth academy, has made his debut for the Serbian national U15 team. The 13-year-old appeared in three matches during the UEFA Development Tournament held at the Football Association of Serbia Sports Center in Stara Pazova.

Junior played against Russia, Kazakhstan, and Turkey under head coach Pavle Delibašić. His debut fulfills a long-held wish of his father, Fabio da Silva Senior, a former Brazilian footballer who played for Red Star Belgrade between 2005 and 2008. Having lived in Serbia for many years, the elder da Silva expressed his pride in seeing his son, who holds Serbian citizenship, represent the national team.
