Fabio Di Giannantonio maintains fourth in MotoGP standings

Fabio Di Giannantonio, riding for VR46 Ducati, currently sits fourth in the 2026 MotoGP championship standings following a challenging weekend at the Aragon Grand Prix. Despite the setback, which saw him fall 48 points behind leader Jorge Martin, Di Giannantonio remains focused on his long-term potential.

The Aragon weekend was marked by technical difficulties, including poor bike behavior and a crash during the sprint race. Di Giannantonio finished seventh in the main event, a result he described as a disappointment given his goal of a top-five finish. He noted that his team has identified the causes of the recent performance issues.

Reflecting on his position in the championship, Di Giannantonio described himself as an ‘underwolf’ rather than an underdog. While acknowledging he has yet to secure a premier class title, he expressed confidence in his speed and talent. His recent form has already secured him a factory KTM deal for the following season.
