Fabio Quartararo credits Jack Miller and prepares for Honda move

At the German Grand Prix in Sachsenring, Fabio Quartararo said that teammate Jack Miller’s feedback on a new swingarm was crucial for unlocking the performance of his Yamaha M1. Quartararo noted that Miller’s similar riding style allowed the data to be directly applied, leading to an immediate improvement when the preferred setup was restored.

Honda announced that for Quartararo’s planned switch to the factory team in the 2027 MotoGP season, crew chief Cristhian Pupulin – currently Luca Marini’s crew chief – will oversee his integration. The French champion will also be joined by tyre specialist Ignacio “Nacho” Madurga, both aimed at smoothing his transition to the Japanese marque.
