Fabio Roscioli elected as deputy in recent by-election

Fabio Roscioli has been elected as a new deputy, securing 51.02 percent of the preferences in a by-election held on September 28. He replaces Francesco Cannizzaro, who resigned due to incompatibility with his role as Mayor.

The election results indicate a strong performance for the center-right coalition, bolstered by the political influence of Francesco Cannizzaro and Governor Roberto Occhiuto. In contrast, the center-left coalition failed to secure the expected consensus, despite polling higher in previous national surveys.
