Fable PC system requirements revealed by Playground Games

Playground Games has released the PC system requirements for the upcoming action RPG, Fable. The hardware needs vary significantly depending on the desired resolution and graphical fidelity.

For entry-level performance at 1080p and 30 FPS on Low settings, players will need at least an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i7-6850K, 12GB of RAM, and a GPU such as an RTX 2060, RTX 5050, Radeon RX 6600, or Intel Arc A580. The game requires an SSD and approximately 135 GB of available storage space.

Mid-range targets include 1440p at 30 FPS or 1200p at 60 FPS on Medium settings, requiring a Ryzen 5 5600 or Core i5-11600KF with 16GB of RAM and GPUs like the RTX 3060 Ti or Radeon RX 6700 XT. High settings for 1440p at 60 FPS recommend a Ryzen 7 7700X or Core i7-12700K paired with an RTX 5070 or Radeon RX 7900 XT.

The Ultra configuration, targeting 4K at 60 FPS, demands high-end hardware including a Ryzen 9 7900X or Core i9-13900K, 16GB of RAM, and a GPU with 16GB of VRAM, such as an RTX 4080 or RTX 5080. The game is scheduled for release on February 23, 2027, for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation 5, and will feature DLSS and FSR support.
