Fabletics enters India through Reliance Brands partnership

US-based activewear brand Fabletics is entering the Indian market through an exclusive long-term franchise partnership with Reliance Brands Limited. The expansion will utilize an omnichannel model, encompassing e-commerce and standalone retail locations.

The brand's initial physical presence will include a mono-brand store at DLF Promenade in New Delhi, with a subsequent opening planned for Mumbai. The product lineup will feature men’s and women’s activewear designed for training, running, yoga, and Pilates, utilizing proprietary performance fabrics.

Fabletics President Meera Bhatia noted that India is a critical step for the company's international growth, citing a resonance with the evolving Indian active consumer. Sumeet Yadav, head of Reliance Brands Limited, highlighted the growing demand for athleisure among young Indian consumers as a key driver for the partnership.
