Fabrizia committee supports agricultural event while calling for honors for Domenico Suppa

The “La Svolta” committee has expressed support for an upcoming event in Fabrizia scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4, which will feature demonstrations of agricultural and forestry machinery. The event is promoted by regional assessor Gianluca Gallo.

Maria Rosaria Randò, president of the committee, noted that the chosen location is a vital symbol of the area's natural heritage, maintained by the workers of Azienda Calabria Verde. However, Randò raised concerns regarding the lack of formal recognition for the late Domenico Suppa, a former vice president of the Provincial Council.

The committee is calling on local institutions to honor Suppa by naming the lake and picnic areas at Passo dell’Abate after him. Additionally, they emphasized the need for improved safety and maintenance on the Limina and Mongianella connecting roads, which were key infrastructure projects championed by Suppa.
