Italian artist Fabrizio Plessi has died at the age of 86. A pioneer of video art and video installation, Plessi was renowned for his ability to merge primordial elements like water, fire, and stone with modern technology and electronic imagery.
Born in Reggio Emilia, Plessi developed a profound connection to Venice, where he lived and taught for many years.
