Fabryka Broni Łucznik Radom integrates SMASH 3000 with MSBS Grot
Fabryka Broni Łucznik Radom has demonstrated the integration of the Israeli SMASH 3000 fire control system with the Polish MSBS Grot rifle. The testing took place at the Military Institute of Armament Technology training ground in Zielonka.
The SMASH 3000 is an optoelectronic sight developed by Smart Shooter that utilizes advanced image processing and target-tracking algorithms to assist shooters in engaging moving targets. During the demonstrations, two variants of the MSBS Grot were used: the C14 FB-A3 (5.56 × 45 mm) and the 762N (7.62 × 51 mm).
A primary focus of the testing was the system's ability to counter unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Soldiers practiced engaging drone simulators and slow-moving aerial targets to address the challenges posed by the mobility and small size of modern drones on the battlefield. The SMASH 3000 features improved optics and increased detection and tracking ranges compared to previous versions in the SMASH product family.
