FACC expands Canadian manufacturing facility on 20th anniversary

Austrian aerospace supplier FACC is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Canadian subsidiary, FACC Solutions Canada. Originally established in 2006 to support Bombardier, the site has evolved from a service and logistics hub into an independent manufacturing facility.

The facility, which employs approximately 80 people, specializes in the assembly of cabin and structural components for North American aircraft programs, including the Airbus A220 family. To meet rising demand, FACC has expanded the site by 600 square meters, bringing the total production area to over 4,500 square meters.

This expansion focuses on manufacturing modular cabin elements for business jets, such as the Bombardier Challenger 3500 and Global 8000 series, as well as commercial aircraft. Since 2022, the location has also operated as an Approved Maintenance Organization under Transport Canada, allowing for repair and maintenance services. The investment aims to reduce transport times and increase responsiveness to customer requirements near North American final assembly lines.
