Factor unveils Elara aerodynamic gravel racing bike

Factor has introduced the Elara, a new gravel bike designed specifically for competitive racing rather than endurance or bikepacking. Positioned as a successor to the Ostro Gravel, the Elara focuses on aerodynamic optimization and road-race-inspired handling to meet the increasing speeds seen in modern gravel disciplines.

Technical reviews highlight the bike's aggressive fit and high level of stiffness, providing precise and responsive steering. While the design prioritizes speed and aero efficiency, the frame is noted for being exceptionally stiff, even when compared to road racing models. To balance this rigidity, the bike features massive tire clearance and can be paired with wide-aero Black Inc wheels to provide stability and compliance on rough terrain. The model also includes internal frame storage and is intended to sit alongside Factor’s more generalist and ultradistance-focused models.
