Facundo Colidio scores first goal for Vasco da Gama

Argentine striker Facundo Colidio scored his first goal for Vasco da Gama during a match against Palmeiras. Despite the team suffering a 4-1 defeat, Colidio made a significant impact after entering the game as a substitute in the second half.

Vasco coach Pedro Emanuel explained that Colidio was kept on the bench because he was not at 100% physical fitness, opting to preserve the player for future matches. During his 25 minutes on the pitch, Colidio recorded three shots, one goal, a decisive pass, and created a major scoring opportunity, earning the highest statistical rating on his team.

Colidio, who previously played for clubs including Inter Milan, Boca Juniors, Sint-Truiden, Tigre, and River Plate, has demonstrated versatility by playing both as a winger and a center-forward.
