Facundo Farías joins San Lorenzo on loan from Estudiantes

Facundo Farías is joining San Lorenzo on a 12-month loan from Estudiantes de La Plata. The agreement includes a $150,000 fee and an option to purchase 70% of his economic rights for $3 million.

To manage the high salary, San Lorenzo will cover 60% of Farías's contract, while Estudiantes will pay the remaining 40%. The move was specifically requested by coach Néstor Gorosito, who previously managed Farías at Colón de Santa Fe.

Farías, who previously played for Inter Miami, seeks to regain his form following significant injury struggles. Estudiantes has reserved a buy-back clause, allowing them to reacquire the player during certain market windows if necessary.
