Various legal proceedings and criminal cases have been reported across Argentina and the region. Additional local cases involve a former communal official in Pilo Lil sentenced to three years of conditional prison for death threats, and a man in Chubut intercepted while fleeing in his lawyer's vehicle. In San Juan, a woman received probation for motorcycle theft, while in Quito, Ecuador, a man received six months for causing a forest fire.
