Facundo Medina criticizes former stint at Olympique de Marseille

Argentine international defender Facundo Medina has offered a blunt self-assessment of his time at Olympique de Marseille. In an interview with Canal+, the 27-year-old described his 26 appearances for the club as “26 matches of shit,” stating, “I did nothing.”

Medina, who transferred to Bayer Leverkusen last summer for 25 million euros, is set to face his former club on Thursday, November 5, during the Europa League group stage.
