Facundo Moyano charged with disobedience for alleged restraining order violation

Facundo Moyano, a union leader and former deputy, has been charged with disobedience by prosecutors in Buenos Aires. The charge stems from an alleged meeting with Candela Arizaga at a hotel in the Monserrat neighborhood between August 31 and September 11.

Moyano was under a judicial restraining order that prohibited him from approaching Arizaga within 300 meters or contacting her through any means, including personal, telephone, or digital platforms. Prosecutors are investigating whether this encounter constitutes a violation of those restrictive measures.

This new charge is added to an existing legal case involving allegations of aggravated minor injuries and unlawful deprivation of liberty following an incident in August. The investigation into the hotel encounter follows testimony from Arizaga during a television appearance, prompting authorities to review security camera footage from the establishment.
