Fad Juventud and BBVA launch communication tutorial for families
Fad Juventud and BBVA have released a new video tutorial as part of their Educación Conectada project to assist families in communicating with adolescents. The initiative, titled ‘¿Hablas en casa de a quién le cuentan sus cosas?’, addresses the common parental concern regarding why teenagers often share information with peers before their families.
The tutorial aims to help parents interpret these behavioral shifts without feeling rejected. It provides guidance on strengthening communication through active listening, respect, and availability, while advising against excessive control or interrogation.
Beatriz Martín Padura, Director General of Fad Juventud, noted that the resource emphasizes being a reliable place for support rather than striving to be the first to know everything. Teresa Madrigal Valera, BBVA’s Director of Responsible Business in Spain, highlighted the importance of providing useful content to foster the well-being of young people.
