Fadel Shaker to perform two concerts in Riyadh Season
Turki Alalshikh, head of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, has announced a second concert for Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker as part of Riyadh Season. The additional performance, scheduled for October 23, follows the rapid sell-out of tickets for the initial concert on October 22. The event, titled ‘Return of the Absent’, marks Shaker’s return to the stage after a 14-year hiatus.
Shaker has reportedly signed a three-year contract with Billboard Production Company to manage his upcoming works and international performances. The singer recently arrived in Riyadh following medical treatment in Doha and having obtained a passport through Lebanese authorities.
There are indications that Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab may join Shaker on the Abu Bakr Salem stage for the event, following the conclusion of negotiations for her participation.
