Fadhlina Sidek to visit remote areas to review Orang Asli education

Malaysian Education Minister Datuk Seri Fadhlina Sidek has announced a multi-day visit to remote areas to inspect the state of education for the Orang Asli community. The visit aims to evaluate various aspects of the educational landscape, including teacher training, pedagogy, operational challenges, student achievements, and community synergy.

Fadhlina noted that her interest in this area is driven by a passion for humanistic education. She also referenced a book titled ‘Pembangunan Pendidikan Orang Asli di Malaysia’ (Development of Orang Asli Education in Malaysia), which explores institutional roles and pedagogical approaches. She expressed hope that researchers and authors would continue their work in collaboration with the Ministry of Education to further develop educational initiatives for the community.
