Fadi Baoum outlines new political vision in Mukalla

Fadi Hassan Baoum, President of the Political Office of the Southern Future Council, has announced a new political vision during a meeting in Mukalla, Hadramaut. Baoum emphasized that the Southern cause is not the exclusive property of any single component and stressed that the South cannot be built through exclusion or a single voice.

Baoum highlighted Hadramaut as an essential partner in decision-making rather than a mere geographic or political margin. He stated that the region's resources and potential should be managed transparently to benefit its citizens through development and services. He also noted that the identity and form of the state are national choices that must be decided through consensus and dialogue, respecting the specificities of regions such as Hadramaut, Mahra, Socotra, and Aden.

In a related development, the Southern Transitional Council (STC) coordination team at Hadramaut University launched the Thought and Development Forum. The forum included a political evening titled “The Southern National State and the Realism of National Discourse,” aimed at fostering dialogue and political awareness among students and youth.
