Fadilou Keïta dismissed as Director General of the CDC

Fadilou Keïta has been dismissed from his position as Director General of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) by presidential decree. The decree, which was dated September 10, 2026, was officially notified to Keïta on Tuesday.

Following the dismissal, the Secretary General of the CDC has been appointed to manage the institution on an interim basis until a new Director General is installed. This leadership change occurs while a recruitment process to fill the role was already underway, having been launched recently with support from the Organization and Methods Office (BOM).

In a public statement, Keïta expressed that he is leaving with a “feeling of duty accomplished” and offered thanks to the Supervisory Commission, subsidiary directors, partners, and the CDC Group staff for their collaboration.
