Faena Theater announces jazz series and Halloween event

The Faena Theater in Miami Beach has announced its upcoming season, featuring the ninth annual Faena Jazz Series and a theatrical Halloween event titled ‘Memento Mori’. Curated by Grammy-nominated producer Rachel Faro, the jazz series is scheduled to run through June 2027.

The season kicks off on October 4 with British vocalist Emma Smith. Other scheduled performers include Sammy Figueroa and Aymée Nuviola on October 21, the Reginald Policard Quintet on November 25, 2026, and Etienne Charles presenting ‘A Creole Christmas’ on December 9, 2026. The lineup spans various genres, including Latin jazz, Caribbean rhythms, Indian classical music, and Argentine tango, with notable acts such as Bebel Gilberto, VARI (Varijashree Venugopal), and the Pablo Ziegler Jazz Tango Trio.

On October 31, the theater will host ‘Memento Mori’, an immersive Halloween celebration combining music, dance, and theatrical intrigue starting at 11 p.m. Tickets for jazz performances start at $80, with season packages available.
