Faenza: 22-year-old motorcyclist killed in multi-vehicle collision

A 22-year-old motorcyclist died following a multi-vehicle collision on Via Pana in Faenza, Italy. The incident occurred on a Friday afternoon near the intersection with Via Cassanigo.

According to preliminary investigations, the young man was riding a large-capacity motorcycle toward the city when he collided head-on with a Volvo driven by two Dutch tourists. The impact triggered a chain reaction involving a Peugeot driven by a 59-year-old woman.

Emergency services, including ambulances and a rescue helicopter, arrived at the scene, but the motorcyclist could not be saved. The 64-year-old driver of the Volvo was transported to the Bufalini Hospital in Cesena with moderate injuries, while the driver of the Peugeot was treated for shock. Local police and highway patrol are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
